Maritimo's Barry-Cotter to buy Mustang Marine

Mr Bill Barry-Cotter, CEO of luxury boat company Maritimo, has moved in to secure the struggling Mustang Marine after it went into administration in March. Barry-Cotter plans to maintain the Mustang brand and operate it along-side his own company Maritimo. In a recent statement, he revealed that some existing dealers will continue to offer Mustang boats, however many Maritimo dealers will also be distributed the boats to sell.

For more information, you read about the deal here.

This deal should definitely spruce up the Maritimo product line in the long term, so NextGen Studios wish Mr Barry-Cotter and the team at Maritimo and Mustang all the best – especially at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show! We look forward to working on some new product videos and really showing off these beautiful, luxury boats.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out some of our work with Maritimo.

V8 Supercars Gold Coast Event

After last year’s failed GP attempt, The Queensland Government has put its faith into the Gold Coast-based V8 Supercars organisation to turn the event into an international attraction this coming October. The plan is to introduce a streamlined 3-day event featuring a shorter track, while appealing to a wider demographic with nightly concerts displaying local and international musical artists. A 25% cut in ticket prices will definitely give the punters something to smile about.

With major contributions from the Queensland Government, this V8 Supercars event will take the Gold Coast to the world stage, producing a family-friendly environment for tourists and locals. We look forward to seeing how it all unfolds!
